About Me
Hello there, my name is Brandon. I’m a sound designer and composer for live theatre and concerts. I do live sound production work as well; shop builds, crew work, mixing, and sound supervising. I grew up in a small-ish town northwest of Houston, Texas called Tomball. After high school I attended The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio. It was at UIW where I got my Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts, and my Bachelors of Music in Music Composition with a Minor in Music History. These days I am based in New York City.
Growing up I was involved in my school choir and theatre program, singing & performing any chance that I could. This continued through college until I pivoted towards writing music and sound pieces that had a focus on live performances. In San Antonio I was surrounded by classical music, Noh Theatre, and a vibrant indie rock and sound art scene. This exposure paired with my experience in live sound production & design led me to discover the path of writing music and making sounds - that work in sync with lights, dance, projections, and spoken word - to bring people together through artful events.
When I’m not working on sound stuff you may find me gardening, petting a pet, travelling, trying new recipes, or sometimes doing stand-up comedy!
